FILE 2012
CALL FOR ENTRIES
FILE - Electronic Language International Festival is open for new entries from January 06 to February 29, 2012 to be exhibited in FILE 2012 exhibition. The 13a- edition of FILE in São Paulo will happen between July and August, 2012, in the Art Gallery of SESI-SP at FIESP Ruth Cardoso Cultural Center.

Besides exhibition entrance, FILE will receive as well from January 06 to February 29, 2012 proposals for lectures and workshops to participate at FILE Symposium and Workshop 2012. Both events will happen simultaneously during the first week of FILE 2012 exhibition, in São Paulo.

SYMPOSIUM & WORKSHOP
Over the 13 years of FILE exhibitions, FILE SYMPOSIUM has become an important meeting point for discussion of Cyberculture, where researchers, artists and theorists have exposed panoramas on what is being produced around the world in the interrelationship among Art, Science and Technology. In 2010, FILE developed series of workshops, which would become another important meeting point in this field, FILE WORKSHOP.

If you are interested in presenting a lecture or teach a workshop in FILE SYMPOSIUM or FILE WORKSHOP, please send your proposal to us until February 29, 2012. Learn how to apply!
  
ANIMA+
Dedicated to animation and digital innovation in their interrelationship among the different artistic versants of electronic languages, FILE ANIMA+ opens spaces for all the genders of animation, from big-studio classics to indie productions, from professionals to students. INSTALLATIONS
To create an environment in space is not a simple task. Even more complex is to create an environment that reacts to the actions of individuals who inhabit that place. An artist who creates interactive installations formulates a nature with its own, original dynamics, reconfiguring our habits of moving in space, of listening to the world, of observing architecture, of relating to other individuals.

GAMES
FILE Games presents games which attend to several ages and try to involve the audience in a ludic and creative way. The idea is to offer the player a new artistic experience through the game culture. Lear how to register your proposal.
HYPERSONICA
HYPERSONICA, sonorous branch of FILE, exhibits the work of artists which experiment electronic sounds, often creating their own instruments.

FILE MACHINIMA presents groups of films made in interactive virtual worlds in order to demonstrate the plurality of works done in recent years through this technique.
