FILE MEDIA ART
FILE contributes more and more to expand and to intertwine the cyberculture networks, and it has always emphasized net-art as the major cultural fact of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, becoming the world's main event and the largest archive of the genre. In each edition, the Festival's net-art archive, FILE Media Art, receives new invited and selected artists from all over the world.
HYPERCINEMACTIVITY
The Hypercinemactivity concept can be ellastically broadened as one explores new alternatives in story-telling. The lost linearity gave room to image and procedural participation of the audience.

FILE GAMES

Computer games, digital games, are simulations and complex systems that produce a creative and tactical involvement as well as a new kind of socialization and communication in the immersive and interactive virtual worlds. We are talking about games that shifted the stores shelfs to the tough job of art-making.

PANORAMAS
Panoramas are pictures that generally allow a 360° sightseeing from an observer point. Recently, internet offers a great variety of interactive Panoramas, in which one may immerse and explore different angles and details of a same landscape. FILE grants the Panoramas as being a form of expression done by artists who are exploring new potentialities of this tool by creating poetic, instigating works.
POETRY
How do we relate to artificially generated texts? How do we receive and read polite server messages, that had been automatically sent? Are they effectively speaking to us?
