FILE RIO 2009
ELECTRONIC LANGUAGE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL - IS HOSTED IN OI FUTURO CULTURAL CENTER, FROM MARCH 10TH TO APRIL 19TH, FROM TUESDAYS TO SUNDAYS, 11AM - 8PM. THE PROGRAMME TAKES OVER ALL THE EXHIBITION HALLS OF OI FUTURO AND ITS AUDITORIUM WHICH PRESENTS FILE SYMPOSIUM.
In its 4th edition, FILE RIO shows different kinds of art works like web art, artificial intelligence, mobile art, software art, interactive installations and digital documentaries about themes directly and indirectly related to electronic culture.
FILE INSTALLATIONS
FILE Installation RIO 2009 shows mainly interactive installations, environments that reacts to the actions of individuals who live in the places. The artist who creates this kind of installations formulates a nature with its own, original dynamics, reconfiguring our habits of movement in space, of listening to the world, of seeing architecture, of relating with other individuals.
FILE SYMPOSIUM
FILE Symposium is a space for discussing new media that will have round-tables with artists, theoreticians and researchers from Brazil and abroad in the area of art-technology.

CINEMA DOCUMENTA
With several justifiable ends, the digital documentaries of this edition of FILE Cinema Documenta reveal a new way of exposing their themes that are directly and indirectly related to electronic culture in the most different electronic languages.
HIPERSONICA SCREENING
Hipersonica Screening exhibits audiovisual pieces which use digital means of production, such as visual music, animations and music videos to show how hybrid art can be when different sonorous elements are remixed.
FILE MEDIA ART
The new media may be much more than their original function. Discover how to deconstruct routines and to take part in a global cultural movement in File Media Art.
